Insane project to find out if lava lamps work on mighty Jupiter

Neil Fraser built a large centrifuge in his house to find out if a Lava Lamp would work in a high-gravity environment such as Jupiter. Would the wax still rise to the surface? Would the blobs be smaller and faster? His findings: The lava lamp continues to operate beyond the force of Jupiter's gravity!
